AFLON, with more than 4 decades of experience processing engineering plastic and fluorite resin, made its name in the local market as a symbol of excellence manufacturing and commercializing equipments, components, accessories and plastic piping systems with quality and reliability that only comes with time.
Constantly undergoing technological developments, the main activity of AFLON is the transformation of noble fluorite plastic Polytetrafluoroethylene (PTFE) Teflon®, Perfluoralkoxy (PFA), Fluorinated ethylene propylene (FEP), Polyvinylidene Fluoride (PVDF), Ethylene chlorotrifluoroethylene (ECTFE) and engineering plastic such as Polypropylene (PP) and High Density Polyethylene (PEAD).
Using advanced technology, continuously updates its professionals trough specific trainings at the research centers of its main suppliers worldwide, searching for the latest technology, obtaining know how, investing in the acquisition of equipments and managing quality.

I believe that in order to survive, the company must follow a series of values and make them as a base for its policies, norms and actions. I also believe that the most important factor to achieve corporate success is to faithfully follow such values and, finally, I believe that in order to accept the challenges of a world under constant transformation, an organization must be ready to change all the things on itself, except for its own values. AFLON targets certification ISO 9001 to be achieved in a middle term. A quality program has been started by AFLON containing disclosure activities, as well as the elaboration of procedures and a manual of quality. We have, though, some projects prior to the certification we target, such as the change and enlargement of our industrial complex to an area of 40.000 m2.
Currently, our Quality System has basically been implemented, with all the activities guided by it, according to provision of the ISO 9001 and after the conclusion of the projects prior to the certification, we shall be ready to achieve this goal. AFLON is aware of the responsibility on conquering this objective and has the cooperation of its clients, suppliers and contributors in the development of this process and the continuous improvement of the quality, aggregating the goals and interests common in the partnership spirit required by the contemporary market.
Seeking to attend the growing market requirements in the search for total quality, and having as main objectives the satisfaction of the clients as the services rendered to them fulfill their need and expectations and also a satisfactory result for the company and its contributors, AFLON has on its structure an important Quality tool, the Laboratory for Physical Tests. The infra-structure of the laboratory contemplates among several tests, traction/stretching, density, fluidity index, microscopic analysis, verification of porosity/cracked by penetrating liquid/U.V. cabin, resistant to hydrostatic pressure between 20ºC and 80ºC, dimensional analysis, ultrasound, among others, through last generation equipments in conformity with the RBC standards, with the laboratory qualified by an agency recognized by INMETRO. AFLON’s Laboratory of Physical Tests is available for its clients for eventual tests and analysis that may be necessary.
